Brad Crumling manages the course as the Golf Professional. Southcreek poses a fantastic test of your golf course management and accuracy. Set amongst coastal wetland and hardwood forest it is regarded as the “finesse” course of the three layouts at the National.
The course is short from the whites, but does require some degree of accuracy off the tee. All aspects of course conditioning are good, though the greens to be an odd type of grass but nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The greens at the Southcreek course are the smallest out of the three courses housed within Myrtle Beach National. The fairways here are generally flat but the few mounded areas are a true test of skill. Look out for the looming trees which may stand in your way.
